Sorry for no updates

I don’t know who goes to this site, if anyone. I’m sorry I have not posted. It’s been very, very difficult for me to do this site after my loss. My laptop died along with thousands of pictures and videos. The drive is fine, but I have not yet pulled it apart to clone the drive (nor do I have a spare drive for that atm).

I will try, this coming year, to be better about posting. If for nothing more, than in her memory. I miss her so much. She was my baby girl. She trained every new dog that came through those doors. She never growed. Never bared teeth. If a dog needed correcting, she would, up to a single snatch to set them straight. It never happened more than once. She was a patient, loving girl who wanted nothing but for all the dogs that came through that door to live as she did. As a good girl.

Goodnight Sweet Princess

After 18 years of countless memories, staggering love, kindness, and companionship, KendraK, the Destroyer of Worlds.. and beds.. was released from her mortal coil at 9:32pm on Monday, August 3rd, 2020.

Rest in peace, my sweet, perfect, baby girl.

Thank you for everything you’ve done for me, mamas. You were the best friend I have ever had. You helped so many, both man and dog alike, live their best lives. So many owe so much to you, my sweet baby girl.

Sleep well, you’ve earned your rest. I love you, and I will miss you every cold, sad day for the rest of my life without you. We all will.

Goodnight, baby.

THE BEAST CLAIMS ANOTHER!

My most vicious, tenacious, and malicious beast has slain yet another. As her enemy fell to beneath the endless onslaught of tooth and fang, left unsated by her own ravenous desires, the attack continued unabated until every ounce of her previous foe was strewn about her. As if an indelible insult to her very name was to be etched onto her, had the smallest morsel of her enemy lay unviolated.

Fatdoge loves Corn on the Cob!

So, Kendra LOVES veggies. There’s not many veggies she doesn’t like. But eating corn on the cob is easily her top 3 favorites, especially since she gets to nibble, which she loves to do.

New Bed Hilarity

This was several years ago, I had just purchased a $150 chenille bed for my dogs. They all loved it and wanted to be on it. Only one problem, it was the dead of summer and a very warm bed.

Rusty in particular REALLY loved that bed. My dogs kind of play musical chairs with beds, it’s pretty funny. So they all know once they get off a bed, someone else is going to hop on the comfy new bed.

Rusty figured out a loophole. He left his feet on the bed while cooling down on the tile. He’d be on the bed, get hot, flop onto the tile to cool, then back onto the bed.

Sunbathing

Kendra who’s nickname for a few years has been “fatdoge” loves sunbathing. There’s few things she’s loved more in life than laying on hot cement (or rolling!) and enjoying watching the sun setting.

I got this amazing picture of her, then told her “time to go inside” and she turned and gave me that face. One can only imagine the clean translation for it would be “No, YOU go inside.”. Though far more colorful, I am sure.

Lady’s Fly

Wolfham has a very high prey drive, and over time with some guidance she’s aimed it towards bugs. Especially flies!

She managed to snap midair and knock this fly onto the bed. It landed on my pillow. I turned just in time to see that big ol’ paw of hers go up where she was going to step on the fly. On my pillow. So I quickly grabbed it, and she gave me this look of like “That my fly gimme back!”. She locked onto it and was whimpering so loudly to get her new toy back.. She watched it go down the toilet sadly.
