Female red nose pitbull. She’s been my most trusted companion for nearly 2 decades. She’s known as ‘mama-dog’ because she will take care of anyone in need, human or animal.
After 18 years of countless memories, staggering love, kindness, and companionship, KendraK, the Destroyer of Worlds.. and beds.. was released from her mortal coil at 9:32pm on Monday, August 3rd, 2020.
Rest in peace, my sweet, perfect, baby girl.
Thank you for everything you’ve done for me, mamas. You were the best friend I have ever had. You helped so many, both man and dog alike, live their best lives. So many owe so much to you, my sweet baby girl.
Sleep well, you’ve earned your rest. I love you, and I will miss you every cold, sad day for the rest of my life without you. We all will.

So, Kendra LOVES veggies. There’s not many veggies she doesn’t like. But eating corn on the cob is easily her top 3 favorites, especially since she gets to nibble, which she loves to do.
Kendra who’s nickname for a few years has been “fatdoge” loves sunbathing. There’s few things she’s loved more in life than laying on hot cement (or rolling!) and enjoying watching the sun setting.
I got this amazing picture of her, then told her “time to go inside” and she turned and gave me that face. One can only imagine the clean translation for it would be “No, YOU go inside.”. Though far more colorful, I am sure.
Regal as ever

I had some left over mashed potatoes and a little bit of chicken left over from dinner, so I made all the dogs a little plate. Around 1-1.5 tablespoons of mashed potatoes and a sprinkling of chicken. I only make this a few times a year, so anytime I do make mashed potatoes (from scratch), they get a little bit.
It took a few tries but I think I got a good picture of them noming hard.
Since she was young, she has had laser focus and can lock on to food from tens of feet away. I’ve thrown food at her from over 30′ away and she’s caught it. I routinely (as in several times a day) toss random food and treats at her from 15′ or so and she catches 9 times out of 10. The miss being my fault. She’s a bit older and slower now, but the front end is just as fast and accurate.
Fatdoge is, by all metrics, the best. She’s been my partner in crime for nearly 18 years now. We’ve been through so much together.
